Voice Style and Accents

My native accent is British English RP, but not overly posh! I have a natural, friendly voice, and I’m told I sound a little younger than I look. I’m clear and articulate without being patronising – ideal for narrations! I can bring a degree of enthusiasm to even the driest of material. And I can certainly drive the ‘hard sell’ if needed!

I have a great ear for accents. I grew up in London but I’ve lived in the North of England for over 20 years. And I can produce a variety of accents and character voices with accuracy and humour! From Somerset to Dundee!

I have my own recording facility allowing fast voice-overs worldwide, delivered as mp3, WAV, AIFF, Ogg Vorb or on CD. I have clients in New York, Canada, and even as far afield as Bolton!

Voice Over Experience

I’ve been doing voiceover work since 1992. Over the years clients have included Marks & Spencer, Sanderson Computer Based Training, Tetrosyl, The AA, The UK Patent Office, Comet Electrical. A lot of this work involved the recording of training materials and below is a selection of some more recent voiceover jobs.
